Osmos released!

Posted on August 18, 2009August 18, 2009 by Eric, your haikuist

safe_image.phpOnly ten bucks?? And it’s awesome! Now *that*, my friends, is value.

Osmos is a really clever and entertaining “ambient physics” indie game developed by some very talented friends of mine, lead by friend and former roommate Eddy Boxerman. I was lucky enough to get a shot at playtesting it, and it’s become a really impressive game, with a killer soundtrack by the likes of Gas and Biosphere. I’d have no problem recommending it, even if I didn’t know the people involved, so check it out.

Basically, if you like things that are cool, you’ll love Osmos. But there’s a demo, too, if you’re still not convinced.

(No OSX version yet, but it works with CrossOver Games.)

Osmos also works with VMware Fusion, Parallels, and Wine! Yay!

I just wrote an Osmos Haiku that I’d love to share:

    Blobiverse is void.
I am such a lonely mote.
    No one hears my screams.
